mahihkanak Dance Troupe, from Saskatoon’s own St. Frances Cree Bilingual School, is a celebration of Indigenous youth and culture. Students from grades 6 to 9 bring their cultural form of expression in various categories: traditional, grass dance, jingle dress, fancy bustle, fancy shawl and chicken dance.
