This space is one of the activity zones of the festival, but we distinguish it from the other activity areas due to the nature of the work involved. Volunteers on this crew will be responsible for managing the line ups for the inflatable games/spaces, ensuring that only the appropriate amount of children are in the space at a time, monitoring them while playing and exiting the structures to make sure that no one gets hurt.
-
Help make sure the kids are safe while they are learning stilts, tight-rope walking, and unicycling. No circus experience needed!
-
Make sure our youngest fans of the festival (5 years of age and younger) are safe and happy as they explore sandboxes, toys, playhouses, and the giant blue blocks of our Imagination Playground.
-
This space is set up for our guests who are on the spectrum or of various abilities. This is an area of low-sensory stimulation and to be kept relatively quiet and calm. Volunteers in this space will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the space, including some minor clean up when required.
-
These volunteers welcome new arrivals, and answer questions about the Festival. An outgoing personality is needed to start conversations and make sure everyone feels welcome. Strong communication skills are required as a lot of questions will be asked. Basic training on our scanners may be required.
-
These volunteers roam the site checking to answer questions about the Festival and gather feedback from attendees using online surveys. (Training on survey tech will be provided.) An outgoing personality is needed to start conversations and make sure everyone feels welcome. Strong communication skills are required as a lot of questions will be asked. Previous experience and knowledge of the Festival is an asset for this position.

Volunteers in this area must be caring, patient, highly responsible, and able to provide a calm atmosphere. These volunteers take care of lost children while we locate their parents, and can play a key role in festival site search for any children reported missing, so familiarity and comfort using the event two-way radio is a must. These volunteers also keep careful track of lost and found items that are turned in and items reported missing.
-
When recycling receptacles are overflowing and there is not enough room for even one more can, we need your help! Join the team that protects our Earth and assist our Green Team in keeping our site clean, safe and fun.
-
These volunteers will join in with different activities around the festival site where kids need a little help getting involved. This might include our Critters and Creatures, maze, or any of the other site activities that get a little busy at times. This is a great crew to be on if you like to move around trying different activities! *NOTE – Festival managers may need to move volunteers on this crew to whichever activity is busiest at the time, as required.*
-
This crew will work from 4pm – 8:30pm on Friday, June 6th, 2025, to help manage our Friday Night Free Stage. The work involved with this crew will vary and can include: gate monitoring to make sure that guests don’t access zones not open during the evening event, clean up of space and artist assistance as necessary.
-
Crossing Guards assist with traffic movement as school buses arrive and depart. Those stepping up for this task must be super-attentive and safety conscious, and physically able to stand for long stretches. Before and after bus times, you get to choose whether you'd like to be an Activity Assistant or part of our Green Team!
-
These volunteers will assist our crews in either setting the site up, decorating it, etc. and then helping us tear everything down once the Festival wraps up. There will be heavy lifting involved and lots of physical labor. We ask volunteers on this crew to wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for getting a little dirty. Please remember that set-up happens one week in advance of the festival. Tear-Down happens Sunday evening as soon as the Festival wraps up and goes until we are done (typically Monday or Tuesday, depending). Please note that evening hours may be required.
