Head over to DanceLand for moving, grooving, and all sorts of dancing! This highly-interactive venue will keep the kids active as they learn new dance moves or just move and groove to their heart’s content!
Children of all ages can use this venue to explore movement and their physical literacy in self-led dance times, and also have chances to learn dance moves from professionals! Participants will increase strength and explore their motor skills all while learning something new and having fun.

Rendez-vous à DanceLand pour la musique, la gymnastique, et surtout la danse! Cette session interactive va garder les enfants en mouvement pendant qu’ils apprennent de nouveaux trucs de danse et tumbling!
Les enfants de tous les âges vont bouger, danser et apprendre de nouveaux trucs et poses! Les participants vont augmenter leur puissance, explorer leurs capacités motrices, et apprendre quelque chose de nouveau, tout en s’amusant.
Les enfants de moins de 3 ans vont apprécier un cours de musique et mouvement énergétique avec leur gardien.ne.

Rock The Block Open Styles Youth mentorship
Dance Saskatchewan in partnership with the Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan will be hosting the Rock The Block Open Styles Battles, on June 7th and 8th in Kinsmen Park. For this year’s youth battle category the Children's Festival of Saskatchewan is looking for local Saskatoon youth who want to learn how to battle and freestyle for the month of May leading up to the event.
Participants chosen for the program will have 8 mentorship sessions (1 hour twice a week for 4 weeks) with amazing Hip Hop mentors from across Saskatoon.
The end of the program will be an exciting one by taking part in the Rock The Block Open Styles Youth Battle on June 8th at the Children's Festival in Kinsmen Park!
Registration will be open until April 25th, 2025, and the mentoring sessions will start on the week of May 5th!
Exact meeting dates are currently TBD but they will be communicated to all participants upon confirmation of participation. Sessions will take place at Second Act Studios - please wear or bring proper dance gear - including indoor sneakers!
This program is open to youth ages 8 - 16.
